MILCOM is an approved provider of Victorian Government-subsidised training, giving eligible students access to nationally recognised qualifications and short courses at reduced cost.
Available Funding Programs
We deliver training under applicable Victorian Government programs, including:
- Skills First Program: Subsidises training for eligible Victorians, helping students gain skills for employment or career progression.
- Apprenticeships & Traineeships: Funding support for apprentices undertaking approved qualifications.
Eligibility
To access Victorian Government funding, you must:
– Be a Victorian resident or meet program-specific residency requirements
– Meet eligibility criteria for the chosen program and course
– Provide a Unique Student Identifier (USI)
– Complete a Language, Literacy, and Numeracy (LLN) assessment if required
Final eligibility is determined by Milcom at enrolment and subject to Victorian Government rules.
Student Fees
Students may be required to contribute a student fee depending on:
– The course or qualification
– Funding program eligibility
– Concession eligibility
