USI Privacy

As a Registered Training Organisation, we need to obtain your Unique Student Identification Number (USI). Every learner studying nationally recognised training needs to have a Unique Student Identifier (USI). Complaints

We want to provide the best learning experience for you, from start to finish. If you have any issues or concerns about your enrolment or learning experience, you should raise this with your trainer or one of our friendly course advisers firstly, and we will try to resolve the issue with you. If this is not leading to an outcome satisfactory for you, please refer to MILCOM Complaints Process which outlines the process available to you as a learner should you want to make a formal complaint or appeal.

Privacy

MILCOM, as a Registered Training Organisation, is required to collect various personal information from you as a student. We collect, protect, update, store and dispose of your personal information in accordance with legal requirements. We recommend you read our MILCOM Privacy Policy to be fully informed.

General Conditions

Before attending any course , training or accessing any form of assessment including but not limited to Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) or Recognition of Current Competency (RCC) with MILCOM, you must enrol into the course or assessment through MILCOM’s enrolment process. Your enrolment is complete when you receive a confirmation of enrolment email or otherwise from MILCOM. MILCOM allocates training and assessment places to applicants subject to applicable eligibility criteria, course pre-requisites and payment of required fee. MILCOM reserves exclusive right to set maximum number of participants per course or class which may be varied or changed at sole discretion of MILCOM. The Applicant will be solely responsible to get his enrolment confirmed. Applicants can contact MILCOM on 1300 369 320 or any other future phone number or email provided by MILCOM to get his enrolment confirmed. MILCOM requires full upfront payment for all enrolments at the time of application to enrol by phone, online or otherwise. MILCOM reserves the right to cancel all or any enrolments in case of non-receipt of course fee.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

The refund will be made within 15 working days from the date of request being sent to MILCOM. The refunds shall be credited to the account if paid by bank account transfer (subject to availability of bank details), or to the credit card if the course fee has been paid by credit or debit card. You can contact our administration team for any further clarification. MILCOM allows students a “once only” transfer between courses, venues or dates, provided we are given notice of 5 or more business days prior to course commencement, and subject to course participant numbers and any eligibility and pre-requisite criteria for the new chosen course being met by the participant. Further transfers will incur an administration fee. The applicant will be solely responsible to contact MILCOM to get information on administration fee. MILCOM reserves the exclusive right to cancel, postpone or vary course dates or training venues, including but not limited to courses that have not achieved their minimum number of enrolments. In case of industry training package updates affecting a course you are enrolled in, MILCOM’s teach out and transition policy will apply. This may mean you need to transfer into a new course

Dress code

Courses are conducted in a simulated work environment; therefore students must be attired appropriately. Students are required to wear closed shoes/boots only. Sandals or thongs are not allowed. MILCOM reserves the right to cancel students not following the dress code. No refund will be allowed for students cancelled for non compliance to Dress Code.

Late arrival/non-attendance

Students arriving late may not be allowed into class and no refunds or rescheduling will be allowed. Students arriving late or missing any days of training will be required to undertake a catch-up session with the instructor, for a charge of $600 per session, for each day that they arrive late or didn’t attend
