Course Credit – Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) and Credit Transfer Policy
Milcom recognise that students may have already gained skills, knowledge, and competencies through previous study, work experience, or life experience. In accordance with the Standards for Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) 2015, we offer Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) and Credit Transfer to eligible students.
RPL assesses an individual’s existing skills and knowledge against the requirements of a unit of competency, while Credit Transfer recognises equivalent units previously completed with another registered training organisation.
Applications for RPL and Credit Transfer are assessed fairly, consistently, and at no cost for Credit Transfer. Evidence requirements and outcomes will be clearly communicated in writing.
