Milcom is an approved provider of Queensland Government-subsidised training, offering eligible students the opportunity to undertake nationally recognised qualifications and short courses at reduced cost.
We deliver training under the following Queensland Government programs (where applicable):
– Certificate 3 Guarantee (C3G): Subsidises one eligible qualification to help Queenslanders gain skills for employment or career progression.
– User Choice Program: Provides funding support for apprentices and trainees undertaking an approved qualification in Queensland.
– Other State Funding: As available and applicable to specific courses.
To be eligible for Queensland Government funding, you must:
– Be a Queensland resident or meet program-specific residency requirements.
– Meet the eligibility criteria for the funding program and chosen course.
– Provide accurate proof of identity and supporting documentation.
-Complete a Unique Student Identifier (USI) before enrolment.
– Complete a Language, Literacy, and Numeracy (LLN) assessment if required.
Eligibility is determined at enrolment by Milcom and is subject to government program rules.
While funding reduces the cost of training, students may be required to contribute via a student fee. Fee amounts depend on:
– The course or qualification
– Your funding eligibility
– Concession eligibility
