Nationally Recognised Training
This qualification reflects the role of educators in early childhood education and care who work in regulated children’s education and care services in Australia. These educators play a key role in supporting children’s wellbeing and development within the framework of an approved learning curriculum.
They apply a range of well-developed skills and knowledge, exercising discretion and judgment in accordance with established policies and procedures. Educators may work independently or under the guidance of others; however, in some settings, that guidance may not be available on-site.
Work Placement Requirement:
As a requirement of this course, you will complete work placements totaling 160 hours in a Childhood Education and Care setting. This hands-on industry experience will prepare you for your future career.
On successful completion of the course and assessment requirements, participants will be issued a Qualification Certificate and Transcript of Record in accordance with the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) and the Standards for Registered Training Organisations (RTOs). If a student does not complete all units required, they will be issued a statement of attainment for the units completed.
