This qualification reflects the varied roles of individuals across different industry sectors who apply a broad range of competencies using some discretion, judgment and relevant theoretical knowledge. They may provide technical advice and support to a team.
The overall course duration is approximately 52 weeks including holidays. This course is delivered and assessed over 40 weeks not including holidays on a full-time basis. During study time, students are required to attend scheduled classes (face to face and simulated work environment) for 490 hours over 40 weeks period.
Students will be required to undertake additional self-study depending on their current skills and knowledge.
Mode of delivery
Learners will work through course material with a trainer and complete assessments during class and self-study during non-class allocated time. Classes may be scheduled at alternative, mutually convenient and contextualised for a sufficiently large group of participants.

This training product does not have any prescribed pre-requisite entry requirements. Milcom Institute requires learners to be an adult of matured age and an Australian Resident who is working in, or desire to work in the Business environment. Learners must demonstrate they have sound literacy and numeracy skills to a standard of at least Australian Year 12 school or an equivalent.
After achieving this qualification, student can progress into BSB40215 Certificate IV in Business or any other Certificate IV (AQF level 4) or Diploma (AQF level 5) qualifications.

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) and Credit Transfer (CT)
Milcom Institute will offer Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) and Credit Transfer (CT) to all students through the established process. On successful completion of this course, students will receive a BSB30115 Certificate III in Business and a Record of results. If student cannot complete all the units of competency as specified in this qualification, a Statement of Attainment will be provided to students to indicate the units they have successfully completed.
