CHC30125 Certificate III of Early Childhood Education and Care

This qualification reflects the role of educators in early childhood education and care who work in regulated children’s education and care services in Australia. These educators play a key role in supporting children’s wellbeing and development within the framework of an approved learning curriculum.

They apply a range of well-developed skills and knowledge, exercising discretion and judgement in accordance with established policies and procedures.

Educators may work independently or under the guidance of others; however, in some settings, that guidance may not be available on-site.

Entry Requirements:

There are no entry requirements however a

    • National Criminal History Check, obtained at the student’s expense, is mandatory. Depending on the placement provider, students may also need to obtain
    • a Working with Children Check; and
    • a NDIS Worker Screening Check.

Milcom Institute has the following admission requirements:

  • Are at least at age of 18 at the time of commencement of the course.
  • LLN and Pre-training review are required to be completed to assist in identifying whether this qualification is appropriate for the education and employment aspirations of the target learner and to identify student’s needs for additional support during their study.

Qualification:

On successful completion of this course, students will receive a CHC30125 Certificate III of Early Childhood Education and Care and a Record of results. If student cannot complete all the units of competency as specified in this qualification, a Statement of Attainment will be provided to students to indicate the units they have successfully completed.

Work Placement Requirement:

As a requirement of this course, you will complete work placements totaling 160 hours in a Childhood Education and Care setting. This hands-on industry experience will prepare you for your future career.

If you are already employed in chosen industry you may be able to complete your work placement at your current workplace subject to employer meeting required requirements.
If you are not currently employed in chosen industry, we recommend finding a work place as soon as you are enrolled into qualification.

Pathway Information

Completion of CHC30125 Certificate III Early Childhood Education and Care can serve as a pathway to further education, like the Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care.

Fees:

We protect your fees at all times by:

  • Maintaining a sufficient amount in our account so that so that it is able to repay all tuition fees already paid.
  • Never charging individual students and prospective students in excess of $1,500 prior to commencement of course where the student or their representative pays the fees through direct enrolment.
  • Additional fees may apply in addition to tuition fees.

    Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) & Credit Transfer (CT)

    Milcom Institute will offer Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) and Credit Transfer (CT) to all students through the established process.
