This qualification provides competencies to select, install, set up, test, fault find, repair and maintain telecommunications and high performance data services in buildings and premises. It meets the ACMA training package requirements for Open Registration, including the Structured, Coax, Optical Fibre, Aerial and Underground Endorsements.
This course is for technicians who wish to expand their knowledge to higher technical level of Data and Voice communications. It is ideal for those who have completed a Certificate III in Telecommunications (or similar) and want to focus on enterprise IP solutions.
The Certificate III in Data and Voice Communications is an apprenticeship: you must be employed in a training contract by an appropriate organisation to study. Please speak with the enrolment advisor for more information.

Learning Outcomes

After successfully completing this course, you will be able to

Entry Requirements

There is no entry requirements for this quali?cation. Students are required to perform an entry assessment which includes colour de?ciency, language, writing and literacy elements. Please speak with your enrolment adviser to discuss your suitability.

Duration & Delivery

This course is generally delivered over a period of 24 - 48 months. Delivery is done via face to face training, online learning and includes knowledge and skills based assessment.
