The BSB30115 Certificate III in Business qualification is designed for new entrants seeking a business qualification or existing workers in the Australian Telecommunications Industry who seek to gain general business skills which can be applied to either telecommunications operations or businesses in most other industries. This qualification is also suitable learners with limited or no on-the-job experience but possess sound theoretical business skills and knowledge that they would like to develop to create further educational and employment opportunities.

Course description

This qualification reflects the varied roles of individuals across different industry sectors who apply a broad range of competencies using some discretion, judgment and relevant theoretical knowledge. They may provide technical advice and support to a team.

Learning Outcomes

After completing all required 12 units of competency included in this course, you will be issued with the Nationally Recognised Qualification on BSB30115 Certificate III in Business. After successfully completing this course, you will be able to:

The qualification has total of 12 units of competency comprising of 1 core and 11 elective units. In order to achieve the BSB30115 Certificate III in Business students must satisfactorily complete the following units of competency:

Course Duration

The overall course duration is approximately 52 weeks including holidays. This course is delivered and assessed over 40 weeks not including holidays on a full-time basis. During study time, students are required to attend scheduled classes (face to face and simulated work environment) for 490 hours over 40 weeks period.
Students will be required to undertake additional self-study depending on their current skills and knowledge.

Mode of delivery

Learners will work through course material with a trainer and complete assessments during class and self-study during non-class allocated time. Classes may be scheduled at alternative, mutually convenient and contextualised for a sufficiently large group of participants.
MILCOM Institute will ensures to satisfy the requirement of amount of learning and AQF volume of learning for this course which includes all teaching, learning and assessment activities that are required to be undertaken by the learner to achieve the learning outcomes.

Entry requirements

This training product does not have any prescribed pre-requisite entry requirements. Milcom Institute requires learners to be an adult of matured age and an Australian Resident who is working in, or desire to work in the Business environment. Learners must demonstrate they have sound literacy and numeracy skills to a standard of at least Australian Year 12 school or an equivalent.

Pathways

Training Pathway

After achieving this qualification, student can progress into BSB40215 Certificate IV in Business or any other Certificate IV (AQF level 4) or Diploma (AQF level 5) qualifications.

Qualification

On successful completion of this course, students will receive a BSB30115 Certificate III in Business and a Record of results. If student cannot complete all the units of competency as specified in this qualification, a Statement of Attainment will be provided to students to indicate the units they have successfully completed.
