Learning Outcomes
After successfully completing this course, you will be able to
- comply with environmental regulations and improve resource efficiency
- locate, diagnose and rectify cable system faults
- connect, test and verify DC and AC circuitry
- use hand and power tools
- install customer equipment and UPS power infrastructure
- conduct cabling work in line with WHS practice and regulations
- train clients in new technology equipment
- manage remote power feed, install, terminate and test cables and protective earth wires in restricted registration
- install and modify cable support, earthing and termination infrastructure in open registration
- install and terminate structured cable
- perform cable and system tests
- install ad terminate optical fibre cable
